This Thread is more than 1123 days old, you can't reply to it.

I guess that this forum is only for newer coaches :(

Welcome. You’ll find that we have plenty of older vintage Coach threads here ( some that haven’t had any action in a while and others that are current ). We even have a Vintage section. Enjoy the forum.

It’s always best to start a new thread. Old threads cause all sorts of unintended problems.

The biggest of these is no one and I mean no one will notice it’s a thread from 3.5 years ago. They’ll post just like it was brand new never considering that whatever problem or question was asked in 2016 and most likely no longer an issue.

It’s also likely that most of the other posters in the thread have all moved on, perhaps died in the interim and are no longer part of the discussion or even RVing.

Lastly if all you wanted to do was agree with something already said then it’s not worth posting.

There are really good reasons that forum owners put these kinds of protections to keep you from bringing a zombie thread back to life. Accept it and post a new thread.

There's nothing wrong with replying to much older threads with current info, nor does it cause problems.

One must've, at least, done a Search to have come across them; which is a good thing, as many topics have been posted about multiple times in the past 20 years.

Even resurrecting an old thread, there could still be new details brought to light, which wasn't available at the time of the original post, which may be helpful. If so, then by all means, go ahead & post to it with that new information. We certainly don't discourage it.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
