Lightbulb Thousand Trails Subforum

There are a lot of Thousand Trails members that visit iRV2. It would be great if we had a Thousand Trails subforum under Clubs & Associations. It would be a beneficial place to discuss all things Thousand Trails.

Thanks

That would be nice. We could list the preserves that have trailed off in quality and report on the ones that have improved.

Great idea! Hopefully someone at iRV2 will make it happen.

I filled out the contact us link with this request. They responded with Post in the Forum 101 | Announcements | Member Forum Concerns forum... which I did. Now what?

My opinion may not count for a hill of beans but is there really a need for another forum? There is around 90 different forums plus some have sub-forums and some of them get little traffic.

It must be a full time job to move post to the proper forum and some are still missed.

You may already know this, but you can opt to ignore the specific forums you don’t wish to see.

As long as your interest are covered... it's all good.

Seems my attempt to help may not count for a hill of beans, either …

Sorry, I thought that was RRR saying he was trying to help. I deleted my response. Sorry SeeTheUSA. Cool name BTW.

I wonder if he is a member of TT.... I would guess not.

The site team carefully reviews requests for new sections. We already have a lot & adding more can add to the clutter. We have to assess the need, whether or not there will be enough posts to warrant a new section, whether we think it will be active & someone has to take the time to actually create the section & then find/move posts with that topic into it to jump start it. This takes a LOT of work & this isn't our only job here.

These things don't happen in the blink of an eye. Be patient. If the site team decides to create a new subforum, you'll see it when it appears.

Thanks. And I get it. I was a webmaster for a large international brand-specific MC owners club. It was a full-time job (that I didn't get paid for.) So, I appreciate what you and the team do for the site.

Having been a former Moderator and Administrator here, I'll toss in my 2 cents worth. The site is already top heavy with many sub forums that tends to dilute the overall content of the site. There is always the search engine to source your needs, but it is not used often enough.

If there is ever a form for Thousand Trails, it should also include other camping programs as well, not just the one.
Passport America.
Harvest Hosts.
Good Sam.
Escapees.
Thousand Trails.
