How about an "Unsubscribe from thread" option in the thread tools. Sometimes you want to just offer an answer or opinion but do not want to follow the thread. They have this option in the iPad app.
I realize you can go to user CP section, but one click would be handier and stay in the forum.

I was surfing and happened to click on the "thread tools" and didn't see unsubscribe. Then you sent me the email and there it was and I thought you had just done something to change it.
Then came the "AHA" moment went I realized how it worked. If you aren't already subscribed to a thread, how can you unsubscribe?
