Forget about it.......
Sunshine Protection Act, proposed by Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, calls for not "falling back" in November and instead enjoying DST year-round.

Currently the US is on DST for 8 months since President George W. Bush signed the 'extension' back in 2007
So those 4 other months just need to get in step.

I have mine set to automatically detect. This way the software moves the time stamp based on when it's DST & when it's not.

That says DST "corrections" always on! I looked at the other options and see what you mean, but the wording is very confusing. I made the change. It would make more sense if you delete the word "corrections"! The wording even fooled Cliff! Thanks!

It means it's always correcting the timestamp to DST. Think of it as a switch:
ON=always correcting/always be on DST
OFF=never correcting/always stay on ST

If you want it to change automatically/without you changing a setting, then you set it for DETECT
