to put that message on ALL the Regional forums? Good grief! There is an entire forum section dedicated to the National Rally.

I thought it would be good to generate some competition and conversation between the regions. I wanted to liven things up a bit.

I agree!

There's always a little friendly competition at our rallies to see which region has the most attendees and in that spirit it was appropriate to get those juices flowing....

All I can say for the other regions is..... GAME ON!

I usually try to read all the new entries, but when someone posts on this type of entry, it shows up as new on ALL the regional sites. Looks like there is more there than really exists. So...just conservative me thinking out loud. Just looks sort of unnecessary. Do your thing and I'll keep quiet.

doc, there's one other thing to remember.....

Once anyone makes a post in the affected regional forums it will knock the rally post down the list...

I'm guessing the rally post showing in so many regional forums is an indication there hasn't been a post in these threads.

Like Frankie had mentioned earlier, when I am browsing the site, I go straight to my region without looking at the others. So if there is conversation in one about the rally or whatever, I dont see it unless it is in my region. And I think the majority of people do the same. So I wanted all the regions to see any "razzing" going on between the regions.
Sorry to those that find it spammish.
Just have fun with it and like I said in the original post.........
May the best region win!!!!!!!

Of course, the region where the event is located is exempt from the competition....

Well, with 8 of the 15 pre-registrations so far, we might have to rename it the "Mid-Atlantic Summer 09 Rally".
