Where is the sign out button?

Just signed on today April 3, 2021 and noticed when leaving the "sign out" button is no where to be found.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

You guys might want to reconsider not "signing out" of whatever you signed into

Why? If your profile had no critical information, there’s not a lot someone can do on one of these forums.

And just a suggestion. Everyone should take a hard look at what you tell people on internet sites. Don’t show where you live, never ever tell when you will be gone, where you’re going, etc.

"If your profile had no critical information, thereís not a lot someone can do on one of these forums."

...lol... that reminds me of the person who says so what to the police searching their house without a warrant because they have nothing to hide...

I am not a techie so I don't know what can be done or not done. Nor can I change what is going on these days in society with all the tech. I can only say I am certainty not going quietly. I am not part of the club that just "clicks to continue".

Have been a member for a few years and thought it funny that all of a sudden there isn't any log out button. Searched everywhere for it and it wasn't there which is why I posted this post.

Then it came back next time I signed in. These days don't trust anything tech related and it is getting worse by the week, So be informed and stay alert out there

The Log Out link/tab is always in the upper right corner, on the full forum webpage if you are logged in. Sometimes, members think they are logged in when they aren't. This often happens if the Remember Me box is not checked when logging in. When the page refreshes after logging in, they're logged out.

If they aren't logged in, they won't see a Log Out link/tab.

Never had to use the Log Out button. Usually get logged out automatically, whenever I’m idle at the computer too long.

Our server will disconnect you after a period of inactivity anyway. When you return to the site though, it'll reconnect you & you should see you are again signed in.

I would think that if someone were able to hack into the site, it wouldn't matter if you were signed in or not. They can get the personal info, which other than the sign in, isn't much.
