Jill,
I'll try to help.
Click on "User CP" in the upper left hand corner, right under the iRV2 logo. Once there click "Edit Avatar" You will see where you can pull a photo by browsing, from your computer, however it has to be small. IIRC 100 pixels by 100 pixels.. Once it is loaded be sure to scroll down and update.
Hope that helps, if not one of the super smart moderators will surely step in  .
