2001 Dutch Star Windshield Pleated Curtain Cleaning
We have a 2001 Dutch Star and would like to clean the Pleated Vertical Curtains at the front. Has anyone done this and what did you do? There are many ideas but i would like to know if they work.

You could pre vacuum, spray them with mineral spirits, brush with horse hair brush and vacuum again. Will not leave water marks or stains behind in the pleats. Small shop vac or hand attachment on stand up household vac will work. Buy a gallon of spirits from hardware store and a hand sprayer. Horse hair brush may be found at janitorial store or online.

I took mine to a dry cleaner - I think it was $20-25 per half. Came back nice, not perfect, but for being 20+ years old at the time, a big improvement.
