Thanks Steve.

Also y'all, on the list of things to do if you have never done them before, I would recommend:

Dinner at Amish House
Visit Notre Dame
Mennohof (The Amish Story)

The buggy ride is fun, especially if Tim is sitting in front of you. Then you get to see both his better sides.

Oh! And Ed's crepe's are good also.

Interesting fact!

If Di was coming to the Shipwreck we would have list, graphs and charts along with assigned setting arrangements .

Ok no setting arrangements . Miss you Di!

There was no agenda, just a bunch of friends who had a great time sitting around and going places together, not all together as everyone has their own idea of what they want to do

A few years later somehow we didn't host a gathering in Johnson City, TX..no agenda, just a list of places to go and things to do. Groups got together and decided where to go or what to do. Some went one way, and others went another way. In the evening we all congregated somewhere and told stories and lies. We had a blast

So now we are at another, "Oh! Let's get together." Great, as it should be. Each day might just be decided the night before sitting around a camp fire or no camp fire. It doesn't matter. What does matter is we have a great time.

Sue is putting together some fun and games. If there is something special that anyone wants to do Friday the 13th, by all means go do it. If you want to have fun and games by all means show up at the "gathering." If you can bring one of the food groups, good. If you can't...trust me, there is usually more than enough for everyone.

Other than Friday there is no schedule but there are two exceptions. One is Tim's Fish Fry and he needs to know who will be participating.

Second is the Amish Family Dinner and maybe the buggy ride to the farm house. That is all going to depend on how many want to go to each one. I will have to talk to the proprietor and set up a time but that is going to depend on how many want to go. If it is everyone, then planning will have to be done for a large group.

Please let me know by email (PM also works) if you want to go on the buggy ride, Amish dinner, or both. Earlene and I will go buggy ridding anytime so we will just be going to the Amish dinner. That leave room on the buggy without my fat butt being there.
Rebecca and I for both buggy ride and meal for sure. Rebecca is thinking of food to prepare, will update when she decides.

I hear they pay well and I'm sure they will appreciate my sense of humor.

Food Stuff & Activities

Carol and I will bring creamy tropical coleslaw to the fish fry on Sunday. Still working on something for Friday night.

We want to go to the Blue Gate for dinner and the Amish home (but not necessarily the buggy ride).

Forgot to mention - I like fried catfish. Carol isn't much of a seafood fan at all so we'll figure out something for her.
Papa Steve mentioned groups going out in the mornings. I'm retired (3 times, more or less). I don't really "do" mornings any more...

For the record this is LAKE catfish!
Wayne has offered to grill some of the fish for those that don’t do fried if that makes a difference to Carol.

Regardless, we’ll see y’all there!
