Geez, I wanna go, I wanna experience another RVMooning, but I don’t think I can be gone from here long enough. By then I’ll have 23 chickens. 2 cats, 2 dogs and large garden, hopefully an aquaponic garden and that means fish, too.

Maybe I can just hop over for a few days. Anyone want to loan me a coach or recliner to sleep on?

How tall are you Barb? our couch makes into a bed but it isn't tall enough for some folks, I recall us being close in height. Man, If I weren't going to this Mooning thing, I'd probably come farm sit for you...LOL! Of course, you'd need to pay the gas and food costs there and back, or if you are financially able, airfare...but then I'd be sad you weren't there to visit with. Fish don't talk, Dogs talk, but I only understand some of their language, cats talk, I understand more of that... chickens only talk to each other.

Would love to go to Shipshewanna, but with babysitting duties, there is not enough time for the 2 of us to be gone. I don't want to drive myself that far in the RV solo. Learned my lesson going to Texas solo...

I'm 5’3” and shrinking. Yeah, it wouldn’t be as much fun if we didn’t spend the time together.

I hope every Mutant knows they are welcome to come visit anytime. Soon I’ll even have enough solar power to share. I am adding 2000 watts of panels and 1,800 amp hours of batteries. But I recommend the months of October - December and March for the best experience.

Thinking long and hard about this one. Have a reason for a west coast (WA) trip next year and this may be a good way to start that adventure. I know the sooner the better to reserve, but I have a lot of other planning and considerations to work through before we can commit.

Don’t delay to long, campgrounds here in AR are booked up and hotels are doubling their prices around the eclipse dates.

Reserve now, cancel if you can't make it.

I’ve been working on a program that will help the mutants better understand what is exactly happening during the eclipse.

Picture me setting in a lawn chair with Wayne and Kevin walking in circles around me. Then on April the 8 Wayne aka The Moon, walks between me and Kevin aka The Sun, blocking out any sign of Kevin.

I got this idea when we were all eating at a buffet last. I was in lead, Kevin behind me then Wayne stepped in an Shazam, no Kevin. Seeing this play out should be very educational.

I just had a lovely conversation with Paige and have paid a non-refundable "two nights" deposit for our visit. Our plans are to arrive on April 4th and depart on the 11th.

This will be the start (after 6 nights to get there) of a west coast trip culminating in Shelton, WA in early May before heading home via many National/Historic sites.

Two months on the road in a 22 foot trailer...that should be a good test of our relationship.

Now to figure out what to do about that dang cat while we are gone (no, she can't come with us).
