A cool sign of spring :)

We have had nesting Morning Dove come in on our patio every year about this time for the last 10 or so years. Some years more then once. She usually has two babies and only leaves the nest in the evening when the male comes into cover for her. I walk under her to get to the BBQ and she does not move a feather. My guess is they are all decendaents of clutches from the past as several years ago the neighbors cat destroyed the nest and the babies. It has always intrigued us to see this nest on the old cow skull. There are two babies in the nest at present...very small. It won't be long and the babies will actually look bigger then the mother.

Any way just sharing.
