My son is an officer for the Sac PD. Unfortunately, social services are overloaded. Options for this person are extremely limited. With COVID, even if they caught the woman, the cops are not even allowed to bring her to the station to book her for the damage she caused. He would probably '51-50' her (72 hour psych hold) and bring her to UC Davis but again the hospitals don't want more patients as they're still dealing with COVID restrictions.

I hope your day improved from there and if you're ever in Sac during the graveyard shift and get into trouble, I know someone who can help you out!!

Our house didn't burn up in the fire that has been threatening us for over a week so we're pretty happy. Some nutter banging on my car hood could alter that but I am blessed in that I'm big and pretty scary looking so that sort of thing just doesn't happen to me. A thing around here is that 'they' will come up to you while you're pumping gas. My standard response is just to turn on them and stare malevolently. Works every time.

As I was walking into Flying J a toothless skinny guy was panhandling by the door. I ignored him, went inside and pre-paid for gas. On the way out he asked, "Any change?" I replied, "No, you're still a skinny toothless guy".
