All of the STEAK and fix'ngs are gone so today I am doing up a 'turkey roll', stuffing with sautéed onions/celery, mashed taters, chilled cranberry, olives and deviled eggs.
Pretty standard fair but I did miss the deviled eggs, stuffing and mashed taters
Love me some turkey sandwich with mayo/stuffing and cranberry on it.

Unfortunately still not having 'carbonated' drinks do to 'ballooning' --- don't really miss soda, wasn't much of a soda drinker BUT BEER...might go ahead and one 1-2 this afternoon then will just have to let the 'air out' LOL

I'm something of a Scrooge, wrong holiday?

I prefer a non traditional Thanksgiving. I'm just as happy to take off in the rv with DH and the two greys. Alas, this year it was not to be, but it was my sister's turn to host and she said she was cancelling T'giving. Works for me!

OldBiscuit: Since I don't care for turkey, the steak and all the extra trimmings sounds awfully good. I'm glad you were able to enjoy it safely.

I cooked a whole boneless pork loin in a cider-maple syrup glaze. Sides included roasted sweet potatoes and apples, sausage dressing, collards, asparagus salad. Lots of left overs for future meals once I hack up the pork loin to freeze it. The leftover collards went into bean soup We'll have the sweet potatoes and something tomorrow night.
