alternator amperage

Hi peeps. Really asking for some help please. I have a 1987/88 georgie boy cruise air 2. I am in the process of having the alternator refurbished but the guys here in England don't know what amperage to put in it. Please if anyone knows anything about alternators you help would be gratefully recived. Many thanks

I would put in the largest one that they can make fit. What is in it now?

I will second, On the existing unit the amprage should be marked on the frame, a stamp,, Look for a number in the 150-250 range
