I love to look, too. Always cruising websites and love going to RV shows. Have you been to Elkhart RV Museum yet ? It's really worth it. I'm considering going to International Rally this fall.

We got into the habit of hitting the annual RV Show that comes the nearby Expo Center every Spring and Fall each year during the 15 or so years we were in the "dreaming and scheming" stage of our RV planning. Even it was always our plan to wait until shortly before retirement to purchase - we went to the shows religiously just to follow what the market was doing. Since our first trip - we've always had a "short list" of manufacturers/coaches that we liked at the time. Friends and family used to laugh about our bi-annual trip to the RV show and were always asking "when are you gonna buy one!?" Our instant response was ... "well, we're X years or 1 lottery ticket away from buying the coach of our dreams!

We finally bought the coach we'd been dreaming of for years last February. Not surprisingly, it was one for our "short list". We still go to the shows. It's not that we have any plans to buy another coach ... but hey, there's always that crazy chance that the "1 lottery ticket" thing could come to pass - so we just want to be prepared! :-)

To all the lookers out there, if you see any Class A motorhomes with a nice large kitchen, give a shout. We have a Dutchstar with a large kitchen, but Newmar don't make them anymore. We're looking to upgrade since becoming full timers and want a second bathroom. To our dismay, all the kitchens we see are all small regardless of the manufacturer. Being on a restricted diet, we don't eat out much.
