I've spent on average $400 per month on Amazon for the past three years. Prime member, always loved the ease and prices and speed.

I can no longer justify doing business through Amazon, and have now cancelled Prime.

If you buy books, you'll understand why.

Just picked up one of those Hughes EPO power watchdogs at WM and it was over $30 cheaper than anywhere on AZ. It certainly pays to price shop.

If you don't use any other services and can wait longer, don't pay for Prime. I doubt anyone will think less of your choice.

That said, there is NO MINIMUM order value for expedited shipping for Prime customers. None. I suspect whoever posted that mixed up Amazon with WalMart's policy.
I am a Prime member and also get free shipping on pretty much anything and for sure on "Prime" orders, others that are not prime do have longer shipping times and occasionally there are shipping charges (oversize, etc..).

I have also been browsing from time to time and the $25 minimum popped up, many times this was because I was not signed into my account but browsing as a "Guest" which prompted the minimum shipping notice to show up.....be sure you are logged in and are looking at products listed as "Prime".

Cheers!

I can ALWAYS find the same item cheaper and get free freight on the internet than amazon. Amazon should not have waded into politics. We have too much big anything stores in politics.
