Ambulance or Motorhome?
I bet this couple doesn't have any problem getting through a traffic jam on the way to the ol' fishin' hole.

I have a friend who converted an ambulance into a pretty nice rig.

If you have spent many miles in the back of an ambulance they ride like a Mack truck with camelback suspension and the bed isn't the most comfortable either. Customer service was good though.

Try riding in one for about 30 miles strapped to a backboard with a broken back (split compression fracture of L2)

No RVIA sticker, can't go to some campgrounds.
I never rode in the back but had 15 years of driving them as VolunteeI'm.
I was transporting a trauma patient. They closed a highway for me to get to the trauma center fast but the old #17 rig only went 55 MPH. The paramedic asked me to step on it but I was.
They were typically on thier last legs when traded in.

I believe the proper name is ambumotor or lancehome. Some people have called them ambuhome and lancemotor however both of those names are incorrect.

Not sure on the customer service, no beverage cart. You can’t get up and walk around, and never ever tell them you have to pee. If you get too quiet, they try to electrocute you. They also jab you with something right before everything goes dark.
When you wake up later parts of you are stitched up, missing, or covered in plaster. I do not recommend taking their related air service either. Those are even worse accommodations.

Last time I was in one I was high on morphine after a motorcycle accident. The ride was great.

A buddies father bought one at auction years ago, fully functioning, still had government license plates..we took it on a couple road trips..They work best at night time running with lights but no siren, people could not see a couple of knuckleheads drinking a cold one..late 70's early 80's were a great time!

Ambulance?
Having spent 40 years in these, I can tell you that 1) any one that you buy will be beat to crap 2) are incredibly uncomfortable 3) are poorly made and worst of all 4) have bacteria and viruses in combinations unknown in nature in ever nook and crevice.
