Another Internet Scam
Over the last two days I've been hit with two new internet scams. The first one was an e-mail that says it's from Stubhub.com. It tells me that I'm being charged for tickets to a Padres game and that if I don't want to be charged to click on a link. There are actually about four or five different "click here" links on the e-mail. If you get one like this for something you know you didn't order and there is nothing on the e-mail identifying your credit card then just delete it.
The second one purports to be from Yahoo saying that I need to update my payment information and my payment is overdue. Interesting because I don't buy anything from Yahoo. Again just delete it.
One other heads up for you. The IRS does NOT ever send out e-mails. If you get one report it to the IRS and delete it.
