You can have those hurricanes, you have to hear about them for two weeks before they get there, would drive me nuts.. Earthquakes come in a split second, 30 to 60 seconds they are over, you either made it or not...don't have to put up with weeks of scaring you to death...

I was in Desert Hot Springs.........in the pool. Felt the water moving, didnt think about it for awhile, then realized it was an earthquake. It emptied about 4" of water out of the pool....................wave, after wave, after wave.
