Anyone else broke down?

Injector pump went out in our tow vehicle in Bowling Green Ky on the way home. Been sitting at the KOA since Thursday afternoon. Today is Sunday it is suppose to ready for us Monday morning. Actually the mechanic said he would work on it Saturday and be done but the dealership is closed on Saturday so I can't get it until monday. At least there is a pool here it's too darn hot to do anything else.

Returning to home base yesterday, 9 miles out the TireTraker TPMS alerted me to outside dual on passenger side rapidly losing air. I had just made two turns changing two-lane roads in a tiny almost-ghost town so I just stopped on the road to check it. I could hear air rushing out and was able to feel a pencil sized hole on the sidewall on the inside of the tire. After some thought on the 7 yr old tires being scheduled for replacement before the next trip, the almost 100 degree temps, and no place to really get off the road, I decided to drive it the 9 miles to home base. Flashers on the MH would not work, so I turned the toad flashers on and proceeded on at 25 MPH or less for the nine miles. Now I can deal with it less stressfully before we travel again in three weeks ...broke down, but in comfort!

I'm in awe of your good fortune. Any time you can suffer a flat and still be able to deal with it at home in the time frame you set-- well if you have to have a flat let it be like this one!!
