We made reservations today for the same site for the month of October, 2020!

Just found out that the site we paid $600 for the month will be $1000 in October 2020!
They did have another acceptable one for $600 but not as nice as this one!

If y'all haven't already done it, go take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. We did the Nantahala Gorge with the steam engine and dinner service. This trip was much, much better than the ride was on the GSMRR (with my first ex-wife).

Thanks for the tip! We'll look into that. Where does it start?

We went to Gatlinburg yesterday. While waiting for the trolly at the Convention Center a black bear comes across the street, then walks up the street checking every doorway! Talk about folks scrambling to get out of the way!

Big increase, I understand build it and they will come. But also overprice it and they will eventually go.

Made it tonight. Hit a few branches with the radio antennae and CB antennae. No other noises so we must be good.
Get set up tomorrow then go exploring and visiting.
Site 80 tomorrow morning in daylight.
