Anyone used acupuncture for chronic back pain?

I saw on the news that Medicare is looking at covering acupuncture for chronic pain to help fight the opiod crisis. Just wondered if anyone has any experience with this?

They should......it works!!!!

1973 Sasebo Japan wisdom tooth impacted.
Off to NAVY Base and Dentist.....first wisdom tooth he busted in half and was digging around when I got up and left!

Walked off base in agony -----caught a cab and told him "FIND ME A DENTIST"
Off into Sasebo we went....down a small street and stopped in front of a 2 story ancient building.
Took me up narrow stairway to an 'office'
At this point I didn't care.......HELP!
Cabby and 'DOC' talked---DOC opened my mouth and went 'Ohhhhhh"

Nest thing I know DOC is sticking long thin needles in side of my neck, in back of my neck, in side of face by ear/jaw.....
Before I can protest a WAVE of 'MAN THIS IS GOOD' flows over me and I feel no pain
DOC removed the broken pieces/roots of the wisdom tooth and the 3 others while I just grinned.

Other then slight swelling from abuse NAVY Dentist inflicted......ALL WAS GOOD!

Yeah.....acupuncture WORKS!

There is a family of acupuncturists that live 160 miles north of you on the Tennessee River at Muscle Shoals--close to the Robert Trent Jones golf courses. They also have clinics in Memphis and Huntsville (I believe.)

They have a very good reputation for pain relief. My sister and niece have gone to them.

Anyone interested in acupuncture should check out https://www.pocacoop.com/ They work to provide low cost services. The one we go to is a non-profit. They have member clinics all over. And yes it does work
