Yea I've been a long time drag race fan. Did some bracket racing years ago. My favorite drag racing is the outlaw 10.5 classes. 8 second street legal cars are just amazing.

First one to the end wins. None of this kitty-cat bracket racing. And, just how do you race a bracket? I always thought a bracket held something on. "Hey guys, I'm gonna race my throzzel-rod bracket tonight; wanna get bored?"

We always referred to it as "brake light racing".

Ummmm....yep. I quit about the time brake light racing was coming in. I don't even go to the drag strips any more.

Twin 125's in just under an hour from now. I'll be watching. I like the pack racing over the two car dance much better. Hope they all put their tootoo's in stoarge. I have to agree to an earlier post about the pairity and all. Get back to old school racing where the guy that cheats the best brings the best car to the track and does his thing.

I'm ready for some honest-to-goodness, 43 FASTEST, not owner points cars to get after it. I am not ready to listen to Danica-mania. Since neither is going to happen, I'll go watch the grass grow.

BTW: Not anti-Danica, just would like to seem some results to go along with the hype. I'll be the first to cheer when she foots it into victory lane. Until then, just another driver.

Don't go anywhere at lap 125. Their twin 150's.

I'd rather watch grass grow or paint dry.
