I have used natures fridge in the past around Christmas only it was in a buried cooler! not as ingenious as yours,

hoping I can capture this image to send to some snowbound snowbird wanna-be's ... give them something to do today

I bet you will be headed south ASAP ... I heard on the weather channel that this cold front came from Siberia and across the Arctic circle down to the rest of us, sadly it has settled here for the rest of the week...
Will try not to send it further south.... keep warm,

Jet stream is dropping down into lower AZ. Temps are supposed to drop ~15°. May have to protect plants at night.

80° already before 10 am in the Florida Keys. We are from Syracuse, NY where they routinely get 10' of snow in the winter. Do not miss it and feel your pain. Pack the camper and head south if you can gang, it's warm here.

I did get cold yesterday while fishing a beer out from the bottom of the cooler.

Sitting here between Austin and Houston Texas is pretty funny right now. People putting everything they can over their plants, there isn't a portable heater to be found anywhere either. Its only supposed to be high 30's and low's of high 20's and you would think it was gonna snow 10' and be -20!
