Back Sugery

Well, today is the big day. I am finally getting my back fixed (hopefully). I have back surgery today (getting discs fused). So, after surgery I will have lots of time to be on the forum! I get to drive again in 3 months a with full recovery in 6 months.

Best of luck--sending wishes for a fast recovery and that it takes care of your back issues.

Best of luck to you. Long recovery period.

I too have some pretty bad back problems. A house two doors down from me caught fire at about midnight and I walked down there. Just about did not make it home without sitting on ground but I did.

Am considering surgery.

We can certainly sympathize with you! Annette had lower back surgery four months ago and is no better. The neurosurgeon called today and is scheduling a mylagram (or however you spell it) to try and find out what is wrong. Sure hope yours goes well!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I hope and Pray everyone here get the correct treatment needed...

many do not.

I had my first back operation in 1980..(work related). . and 3 more over 10 years..
I did regain Walking after the first. but pain and limited movement called for more..

but Pain is part of Life after a back operation.. my opinion.

if/when the pain pills limit your value of life... consider the mental pain management classes. many years I did NOT believe in this stuff. but for me it did help.

Have a good day. and keep walking.
