Yes the nations that depend on oil as there main revenue is going to be in a world of hurt..
I'm interested to hear why you think GM and other automakers agree with Mr. Tessia. GM is cancelling the Volt and Toyota is facing challenges with the Prius. We were considering the Volt for our next vehicle and were disappointed to see it cancelled.

I don’t know about who agrees with who. But generally speaking, hybrids in general (Chevy Volt, Toyota Prius) are listing ground to Electric Vehicles. Hybrids were a good transition or stop gap but BEV will continue to capture market share. Tesla Model 3 has already shown this.

For what it’s worth I also liked the Volt. But for not much more you can be in a model 3. The writing was on the wall. GM knew it.

I don’t care who you are. This is funny. I did feel sorry for her though. Who knows. Maybe it was staged. Although I occasionally do dumb things like this.

The main takeaway is, they are getting rich from folks steering others to the video. I saw nothing of value in the video, no proof either.

There are some interesting politics to watch too. Cities with a lot of pollution are banning anything but electric vehicles. That includes London, probably LA and Chicago. Not sure about the Boswash corridor but the major cities would not be a surprise Folks who support the megacity approach expect to ban ownership of personal transportation and move everybody to using what amounts to dispatched taxi services. The country of India and a lot of China are banning fossil fueled vehicles period.

The major source of Hydrogen is expected to be from cracking dino oil. Using solar to crack water is less efficient plus the electricity will be needed elsewhere.

The one thing I am sure of is that it will be interesting times. Other than that there are too many variables in the political agenda's of various groups and the push back from the public.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "ICE" mean in this context? I've surmised that it relates to fossil fuels, but can’t crack the anagram.

Look at the Chevy Bolt, it's basically a Tesla with a Chevy body on it. Daughter has one loves it, over 230 miles on a single charge. We are looking at getting one in 1.5 years.

It would not surprise me if my current 2018 Ford P/U is my last gas burner.
