Best Cash Back Credit Card for RV’ers

Hello folks
Ive just retired and gettin ready to enjoy what so many of you have ..
I’m looking for the best credit card that those with high Fico scores , have decided to use for all your gas traveling expenses.
Hope to cut some gas cost by using rewards.
Love to hear what you all have done !!

Also I’m looking to move all home bills to this credit card like insurances, utilities, Verizon , car payments , etc so I can accumulate more rewards

Fidelity - 2% for every purchase, every month

Costco Visa - Gas 4% (for up to $7000 max 1st year charges). Other charges vary 3-1%, paid at the end of the year.

Capital one Savor card. 3% back on entertainment (many admissions to various venues), 2% back on groceries and 1% on gas all paid monthly (deducted from your monthly bill).

When at home we shop Meijer's most of the time, and carry their credit card. (10 cents off a gallon). But the big ticket items, I usually use my Speedway credit card, and accumulate points for a 200.00 dollar gas card, with no expiration date. Sometimes can't always get into a Meijer's and Speedway station with a 40 footer, so in the end, I just find me a Pilot.

commenity / good sam = 3% on gas and campgrounds. 1% otherwise. but be careful when you redeem points. for example a $50 amex gift card costs 6,000 points. but the $100 amex gift card only costs 10,000 points.

Hi Ken! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the retirement! I use a PenFed card that is no longer available.
I'm not up on what's the best now. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Sam's Club card offers 5% back on fuel charges. We use it for gas and diesel.

Other charges are 2 or 3%, depending. The membership is 100$ per year, but we use it for almost everything and get 200 to 300$ back per year.

At 3 bucks a gallon, 5% is 15 cents per gallon. That counts up.

Lots of others use a Penfed credit card which gives 5% back on fuel, but I've never been able to get through their qualification process to actually get a card. Such is life.

OK, Joe says the Penfed card is no longer available. Guess that answers that.

I believe it is 4%, not 3%, on entertainment and also restaurants too. And the Capital One Venture card pays a straight 2% on everything with no limits (the only thing is you have to apply it against travel related charges to get the two %).

I believe you are correct and i forgot about the restaurant discount. Plus we got a $150 credit amount when we signed up and posted, I think, $3000 in charges.

Thanks

If you're a Costco member, Citibank's Visa through Costco doubles as your Costco membership card in addition to good cash-back benefits. The only issue is that you can't access the cash-back funds on demand.
