Big Green Egg
Getting closer to going Full Time Motor Home. Probably Aria 3601 or 3401?? I love BBQ, and currently have the Big Green Egg. I love it, and of course would have to sell it, to big to haul. My question is, do any of y'all use a smaller version of the Big Green Egg, Mini, Small, or Medium?? Just curious.
I'd hate to go through a major BBQ withdrawal!!

I will break down my Weber Smoky Mountain 18.5", it will fit in one of my boxes easily. A man can't live without smoked meat.
It's not a Big Green Egg, sure works good.

Cooking dinner at this very moment on our Mini Max.
It does take both of us to put in in / out of the bay, as it weighs ~80#s. I put a 3/4" piece of plywood on the bay floor to distribute the weight. The gray "Tupperware" bin will hold a 20# bag of the BGE Charcoal.....
We proably cook on it 75% of the time we are on the road.....

Awesome, love the Big Green Egg. Glad to see it will fit in a Motor Home. Have you been to North Georgia Mountain Eggfest?

We have the medium size we use at home, I originally thought I could bring it with us. But it is still very heavy and more than i think i would want to carry. I am looking at something smaller/lighter.

We've never made it to Eggfest...... It's something we'd (more, my wife / chef) like to do at some point.
As I noted, the Mini Max weighs ~80#s so be sure you have someone that can help you move it, load it. As for fitting in our bays, anyone who is thinking of getting one needs to ensure they have a bay big enough (many smaller coaches / RVs do no time have bays big enough for a Mini Max).
The small(er) Mini BGE just does not have enough grill area to cook much more than a couple hamburger patties........
Regards

If you are looking for smaller/lighter. Check out the Akorn JR. I know it's not an egg, but it does the job. And, it only weighs 30lbs.

You might take a look at something like this. 225# capacity and 200% extension.
