I asked about Kayaks the other day.
I used to have an 18 foot two tube tune with a 60 hp bigfoot merc. It would pull an experienced skier and it would whip them around pretty well on a turn although it would take a bit to recover from a fast turn. it would pull a tube much better. I think a tritoon will be so much better especially with the 115. If your getting it already it certainly won't hurt to try it.

I really can't believe you said that!
Perhaps it was a weak moment in time for you?

Your right, one of my buddies just payed $185k for a wake boarding boat just about as dumb paying that and more for RV’S. LOL

About the only Crossover I know of betwen RV's and Boats is in my doghouse. The Chevy Vortec 8.1L comes in a land based version (around 320 HP give or take a bit depending on the specifics) and a MARINE version (Same identical enging, different comptuer. MUCH bigger radiator (AKA lake or river) 500 HP.

There is a much bigger cross over, they both eat up our money. The old saying that a boat is a hole in the water you throw money into, I feel the same about both my RVs at times and if it doesn’t stop in the next 20 years I’m selling one of them

He apologized a few posts back, just a simple misinterpretation on his part.

It appears some posters are not aware that they are in the "Just Conversation" forum in IRV2. Before you criticize others for posting about their post you should know your in an area where most anything goes.

The forum is called iRV2. RV stands for 'recreational vehicle.' Definition of recreational is an adjective "meaning relating to or denoting activity done for enjoyment when one is not working." I'd think a recreational vehicle could be a trailer, camper, motorhome, or a boat, canoe, kayak, or cruiser. It could also be an airplane, a glider, etc. Relax, you might learn something.

This is from post #32, he apologized, original post was not great I agree but he at least manned up and apologized, you have to admit we don’t see that to often here. Quite often someone will drive drop a snide comment and are never heard from again.

Thx

How large is the skier? How many people on the pontoon boat? Stock prop? I'm guessing if you can get an adult skier out of the water and the boat on plane, you'd be lucky to be going 20 mph and throwing a wake the Queen Mary would be proud of. You'd be much happier with a matched pair of outboards in the 115 -125 hp range.
