Canadian Travel

Just curious.
Are there any of you planning to travel to Canada this year? Our dwindling dollar should be very attractive to US citizens.
I call our dollar The return of the 50 cent piece.
I extend an invitation to all those south of the border to enjoy Canada this year.
You will never get a better bang for the buck.

We had a wonderful time touring the Icefields Parkway and visiting family in Edmonton, AB. Very friendly people.

Traveling the Alaska Hwy and Michigan to Dawson Creek. I hope your beer prices have come down. Last time I made that trip the beer was 3 times the cost of my hometown prices.

BTW, thank you for buying these beers. You paid indirectly our free hospitals in paying lots of taxes on your beers.

Personnaly, when I go in USA I bring my beers. If I buy a beer in USA I take one from Europe.

I drink only small brewers beers and we have extremely good ones here in Quebec. Price is important but I really can't drink a USA beer. I made the mistake three times and had to put it at the garbage. Last one I had, I drank it very fast so I would not taste it too much. But what a bad souvenir.

Happy to help the failing Canadian economy. I am in Florida now and all your countrymen are here. Sooo the money flows South. Thank you Canada. I may just break into song. Oh Canada, my home and native land.

We spent nearly four months in Canada last summer and are planning on being there for several months this year. With a current exchange rate of ~1.40 many things in Canada are beginning to become bargains. Even the gasoline and diesel prices are only ~$2.60/gal which isn't much different from what we in the US were paying a year ago.

I went through the Ice Fields last week. I have never been through in the winter. I think they were even more spectacular.
Don't recommend winter travel with an RV

We are currently snowbirding in Arizona but this summer's plan is to travel across Canada to the Maritimes.

The current value of the Canadian dollar and lower diesel cost make this an idea time both for US visitors to visit Canada as well as for Canadians to see more of our own country.
