Carpet replacement. Why not in slide out?

We just purchased a " new to us" 07 KSDP. The carpet has been replaced. But not in the living room slide out, why? And step well still has old carpet, and under the captains chairs. The slide area is so obvious, and everyone seems to omit that, wondering why.

I suspect it's because stuff sitting on the carpet is difficult to unfasten and remove from the MH.
If I were going to replace our carpet, I'd replace ALL the carpet. Our present carpet is somewhat worn, but a professional carpet cleaning company makes it look quite good. I think the last carpet cleaning cost $70 for the entire RV.

We just replaced ALL of our old carpet! We had to un-bolt the couch from the floor, but that wasn't a problem. The carpet in the cockpit was the worst problem. If you get a good carpet installer you will be amazed at how he does his magic! Believe me, it's worth the expense!
