CG's.. RV Super Show.. Any Suggestions for Tampa??
Our Florida Vacation is booked 7 days. So far we have on our agenda the RV show in Tampa and some sites to see in Orlando.
Our primary is to just enjoy some nice weather, R&R, take in the big RV show in Tampa. AND check out a few CG's to winter at. Any particular nice places to check out in and or around the Tampa/Orlando area's??
We are so ready to get out of this freezing Tundra.. Jim & Trina

Campgrounds on Tampa's East Side
We Winter in Thonotosassa which is on the NE side of Tampa. It's out in the country but close to everything (Busch Gardens, State Fairground, MOSI, etc.). Two campgrounds to look at are Happy Camper (across from the huge, Big Top Flea Market ( Welcome To Happy Traveler RV Park), and Spanish Main (http://www.carefreervresorts.com/rv-parks/florida/spanish-main/} just around the corner. We also know of a private RV Park (we stay at) in the same vicinity that does not advertise, is immaculately kept, is quite economical. but has few amenities. The owner is only interested in 3 month or longer commitments. If interested in such, send me a private email.

The website says there is dry camping in the parking lot for $20 per night. Does that mean you pay the normal parking fee for the day and also the $20 for the night?
Has anybody don't that before?

If you like fine dining Berns steakhouse is a must. Rachael Ray says its the best In the USA.
I say it's the best place I've ever been for food and wine  beats St Elmo's club in Indianapolis. Another excellent place!
