CLAC (Can't Leave it Alone Club)

Are you one of those folks that just can't leave things alone? Always seeing a better way to make things work or look? Always tinkering and upgrading your rigs, cars, trucks and just about everything else in your world?

Then this is the place for you. Share your ideas and projects here with other like minded folks. I found some of us were hijacking others build threads with general conversation about other projects so I thought this might be a better way AND hopefully find more folks like us all in one place.

I have to have something to do or I just can't function at all. I can't see something that needs to be done and just walk past it. Can't see someone that could use a hand and not offer it. One of the reasons I'm trying to find something I can do while FTing.

I have a few ideas and think I have it narrowed down. Part of the reason for the need for a stacker trailer. I'm a builder/fabricator and that takes tools. One idea is to combine those skills with the desire to do projects like BAP & Terry are doing. Maybe not so much a total rebuild, but remodels, mods and add ons. Also picking up one of those leak finder systems and take it mobile.

DW says I'm supposed to be retired and having fun. I tell her that kinda stuff is fun to me. Plus we need to pay for all the fuel moving that big bus around will require, camp sites, hookups, etc, etc.

So... I can find your leaks, repair them, build or modify your cabinets, install a new floor or counters, install new electronic systems or an outdoor entertainment system and I'm sure I can think of a few more, right in your own driveway. Would keep me from going crazy not having a project. Seems to me that is an underserved market.

Me Too;

I enjoy what I do. I'll stop when a couple shovels full of dirt get thrown on my face.

I've got a bunch of stuff to do on the Magna and at home! Need to do a brake job on the DW's car and fix a leaking faucet in the stick house. AND, guess where the tools I need are? In the storage bays of the Magna and it's at Cummins for at least another week!!

Mr D your Magna adventure has been a wild ride. I admire your good spirits about it. I would not be as calm as you.

You're a bit far south of me to just drop by with some tools to fix a faucet

Same boat as you. DW wants a fawcet replaced. Tools are in the MH at the RV resort. Picking it up in about 2 months. May have to buy more tools. How can that be wrong?

C'mon Cummins, step up and take responsibility for your problem.

Well, they did agree to kick in about $10,000 so it's not a total loss to us. But we're still wondering why no one has done a class action suit over it.

Anyway, that "conversation" is for another time and thread!

I've been known to do a thing or two where leaving well enough alone would have sufficed

Thanks Frank. Yeah John belongs here no doubt.

We kinda hijacked Terry's thread. Though this would be better. We can discuss any and al projects and ideas here. I need to invite zmotorsports over here too. That guy does some really high tech mods. MT4Runner, BAP, Curtis in TX too.
