Coach Net ? What's Going On???
I recommended to my sister that she join Coach Net because I did and I read here glowing reports of the fine service they provided.
Then she has a breakdown on the I-20, Coach Net sends out a wrecker big enough to tow an 18 wheeler and the driver is shocked to find her in a little class C RV, the driver had to rig up his wrecker to pull in such a small vehicle and takes her to where Coach Net told him to: A Cummings Diesel Repair Shop in Odessa TX! Of course they turned her away the driver on his own took her to an other repair shop but they had a two week back log. She is now in the towing company's yard searching for help and Coach Net can't or won't help.
When she first called Coach Net the lady on answering the call couldn't find her on the map on her computer even though my sister said she was at mile post 56 on the I-20 in TX.
Just got a call from Sis that she has to pay to have her rig towed to Abilene TX that will be a pricey bill.....
Something has happened at Coach Net they used to be really good ...NOW???

I have never used Coach Net but I have used Good Sam's services twice. They came through for me.

Coach Net
Regardless of what service you have, their representatives should be required to know their geography. We needed a tire changed (Good Sam) and were at MM 71 southbound on I-75 in Georgia. Not only did we give them the mile marker but the route and street name of an upcoming exit. Good Sam sent us a service from Albany,GA. Took hours.

WOW, my friends had GOOD SAMS and called them three times for tire changes within the year. Good Sams sent a notice they would not renew the next year. I cancelled them too even tho I had no bad experiences or breakdowns. It's all about profit. I now have Coachnet.

Hope that is a one time screw-up and not a sign of change at C-N. Obviously somebody screwed up on the type of motorhome she has. Or does she perhaps have both an A and a C?
Should have called them back immediately when the inappropriate equipment showed up. Too late to do much once it has been towed somewhere.

I used to have Coach Net until I called for help and they could not find me in the computer. Now I am using Good Sam ERS.

When you sign up with Coach-Net, you must give them the class of RV you own along with the make and model of other vehicles that will be covered and serviced as they will service all types of vehicles you own no matter what you are driving at the time. They will service any vehicle that you happen to be in as they honor the card, not a specific vehicle. So when you call for road service, it is important to inform them as to what size and type of vehicle they will be servicing, be it a Class A, B, C type RV or a motorcycle.
When I had a flat tire on my cargo trailer outside of Whitehorse, Yukon, they sent a regular tow vehicle as they only had to jack up the back end of the trailer to change out one of the tandem tires. The only downside from that service call was the operator taking my call could not specifically locate me on the Alaskan Highway right away even though I gave him my GPS coordinates. He remarked that they weren't compatible with their system. I have since suggested to them that they need a simple computer conversion program to convert the GPS numbers to whatever coordinate numbers that they are working with. Not sure if they took my suggestion and implemented it.

Did you give them your membership number when you called or just your name?
If you had a current membership number that you gave to them and they weren't able to locate you in their system, I would be on the phone to the company president in a heartbeat stating that they will be hearing from my attorney.

I would guess that with a lot of warranty stuff they go to the closest they find and that is not always in your back yard. I have Good Sam and had to use them once and was quite pleased with them

Most Rvers don't have 3 flats in their life time let alone one year. Were these 3 flats on the same RV or different vehicles? Usually a pattern of many flat tires in a short time period indicates poor maintenance. (usually)

There wasn't any buyout. CoachNet has always been part of NMC, they've just decided to change the branding around.
