If you checked on this announcement you would have seen that is not much ore than a marketing improvement, same structural content with a more regular Coke-like taste.

It's funny that people worry about drinking Diet Coke, but have no issues with all sorts of alcohol. Coke was first produced as a stomach medicine and years later morphed into a popular drink. I really don't drink alcohol much, not for any reason, I just never really acquired a taste for it. When I went to my DR for a yearly physical, we discussed the fact that I drink on average 3 Diet Cokes a day. She suggested I cut that down to one or two. Then I said some people have 3-4 alcoholic drinks a day, to which she replied that "3 diet cokes is good, stick to that". Everything is relative to your other dietary/exercise habits, and everyone has their "vices" when it comes to food and beverages.
