Then I stayed in Lincoln during the week and attended the Nebraska/Northwestern game. That game was also tough to watch for Husker fans. But at least a victory was achieved with a low game-winning field goal that was miraculously not blocked, for a 13-10 final score. It's tough to win games when your kicker is a third-string walk-on safety 
This Husker team has a lot of room for improvement. But last year at this time we were 0-6, so this year's record of 4-2 is a sure sign of progress. This week's night game at undefeated Minnesota will be very interesting.

I'm thinking the Badgers are gonna come into the 'Shoe this weekend with a BIG chip on their shoulders & something to prove. The Buckeyes have been awesome so far. This will be a real test.

It can happen. Sometimes, all it takes is some sleeper team with nothing to lose & a whole lotta fire under them. I'm sure Ohio State would like another shot at them after that Fiesta Bowl fiasco a few years back.

Hawkeyes shut out Northwestern Wildcats yesterday. Last time that happened was 1981.
