Costco Michelin Tire Sale
Heads Up.
This month Costco has most Michelin tires at $70 off a set of 4 tires. Then if you are an Executive member, you get an additional $60 off! That is a nice $130 off.
I just ordered a set for the Honda CRV. The Michelin tires on there now have lasted 105,000 driving and towing miles! Boy I remember the day when tires would only last 15,000 miles if you were lucky. But then gas was only 25 cents per gallon also!

That is great!
Costco however is often limited in what they offered.
We needed tires for jeep and jeeps are very common but they did not carry that size so went to american/discount tire for best price and in stock.
F250 needed tires after 178k miles (they held up real well but we're 10 years old...) and all that Costco and sams had were the "p" tires and we needed the "lt" tires.
Called same place and they had a set in Stock but due to last set got 100 off set of 4, then if we used their card we got another 100 in rebate.
They charged extra for their do not care what happens to it warranty but the discount more than covered it.
Out the door price was less than other places on the shelf price.
Costco and sams hard to beat for price and service for in Stock tires though.

Two months ago Costco had the same deal but on Bridgestone Tires.
I even priced Michelin Tires for my Coach during a past sale in the 275 x 70 x 22.5 size. They could get them, and the discount applied BUT the tires are too large for them to mount. I would have to lug 6 huge tires somewhere else to get them mounted. That killed the deal for me.
Something else is weird with Costco. In order to get the additional $60 off being an Executive member, I HAD to order the tires online and even though the local warehouse has the tires for my Honda in stock, they can't use their stock but must wait for the ordered tires to arrive! (3 to 5 days)

Costco and Discount Tire are usually my choices for car, pickup truck, and Jeep off-roading tires. Usually the car goes to Costco and truck/jeep go to Discount Tire. Discount Tire has their optional full coverage replacement warranty, which can be good for off-roading tires that are more at risk for damage.
Discount Tire is the same as Americas Tire. Different name depending on where in the country.

Sams Club has the same $70 off deal on Michelins, and they can order any of their lines.

If you belong to FMCA you can buy car tires through their Advantage program but it might not save any money for us Costco Executive program. For the MH not many Costco's (none that I know of) will work with our 365/70 or 315/80 22.5's
