School.
Old Biscuit, you need to give her a quick schooling lesson on how to change batteries!
I bought a couple of those small portable jump-start batteries, and made sure my wife knows how to use them!
Only problem is, she tells me mowing with the ride-on mower is a "Blue" job.
But she is happy to do the push-mower area!
Happy Glamping.

Those new hand-held lithium jump-start battery thingys are the cats pajamas. OTOH they cost as much-or more as a new battery for a lawn tractor.

A big thumbs up to that.
I carry one in our rig. It probably wouldn't start the engine, but no problem to start the genset. And it will charge the chassis battery.
I have started other people's cars and trucks, so it has earned me a bottle of wine!
Happy Glamping.

Battery charger in garage would have jump started it also....except I was in the Hospital
New $49 battery solved the starting/holding charge issue
But NOW I will have to mow the lawn

Hey, any job I worked, if I stepped in to help with something & proved competent at it, the task became mine. I'd say, it's her task now.
BTW, I love mowing the lawn. I've been doing it ever since we bought our 1st home nearly 30 years ago. I find it relaxing & gets me out in the fresh air.

Last year, I finally had to buy a new battery for my Craftsman lawn tractor.
It lasted 15 years!!
It was a Diehard, and I wasn't kind to it. Every fall I parked it in my shed, and did nothing. No disconnect, no charging. In the spring, it would start right up, though the last couple years it wasn't so spry.
The no-name in there now already sounds sick.

Bad battery was kind of a blessing in disguise.
I really like mowing and if SHE had been able to do it I most likely would have lost out cause I know SHE would have accepted taking over that task . Except for the 'parkway' which is very steep and that would be all I got
