Hi hamguy,
I know what you mean. A similar thing happened to me. We were in Pigeon Forge, TN. I woke up and the left eye had crossed! Got examined by the eye doctor. Had a bunch of tests ($1300. worth) and nothing could be found wrong with me. I was told I had a heart attack or stroke. There was nothing that could be done for my eyes. They would heal themselves over the next couple of months or they would stay as they are. I got a patch for the crossed eye and was able to drive with the other eye. The crossed eye slowly started to heal itself. After about 5 weeks all was back to normal. I never felt anything when this happened or during the healing experience. Kind of scary.
