Hi! Thanks for the reply. Hubby is 73, I’m 69 …. Just being practical on what will work, still want to enjoy the RVing lifestyle but want to minimize the hassle and anxiety....which occurs with an older 35'er and tow. I like your thinking on the smaller size Winnebago, down side is the smaller units have been so gobbled up by millennials seeking solace during Covid (and I can’t blame them). Much appreciated!

It's a tough call, really like the MH aspect that everything is there as we travel on the road. Maybe going a smaller unit is the answer! Arrrgghhhh!!!!!

I will make a note of that and go seek them out (I’m also an Escapee). Thanks!

Totally agree, that’s our travel style, 3 days in one spot is a long time in my opinion (for some that’s great, just we all have different styles). You bring up an excellent point about the ambient temperature, hadn’t thought about that. With campgrounds being so full in the summertime, we tend to go places more in cooler weather … hence jumping into a cold unit is really something of a consideration.
I had originally been looking at Class Cs …. Right now they are not in abundance (thank you Covid). Maybe the solution is wait ‘til spring, I do think the next 6 months will bring a lot of change. Thanks for your thoughts …. Good input.

Good to know! We periodically go out for long periods and a month gone isn’t out of the question. How big is your tt? I’m thinking 24-28, but not bigger. And we have 2 medium size dogs that would share our space. Having the road vehicle always be available and in shape is a positive. Two weeks ago we took the MH with our tow (2020 Ford Escape, on dolly as defined in the manual) …. and damn … all dash alerts went whacko went we removed from dolly to drive – not as we expected, thankfully this was after the trip and at home (had to have it towed to dealer, discussing this with them tomorrow). I’m considering something like a big SUV (Expedition, Durango) …. Big enough to pull light weight tt. Thanks for the input!

The C vs tt is the dilemma. Yah …. Why ARE Bs so $$$$. I guess overall it’s nice to have options but this isn’t an easy decision! Thanks!
