Delta Airlines handles remains of soldier and his working dog

I put this here because it is not RV related:
Soldier and his working dog honored by Delta Airlines

God bless the warriors who keep us safe and free!

Been retired from DAL for over 10 years now...have seen MANY acts of unrecorded compassion by employees toward our fellow man during my 27 years of service with this air carrier. Very proud to see a noble tradition that is still alive and well.

Thank You for posting. Our Military serves and pays a very high price far to often. It is nice to see others respect and honor that.

Love our military, active, retired, future, and those who paid the highest price. Thank you for my Freedom! Lynne

21 years, 15 days Active Duty Army, I appreciate what the airlines do for our returning Warriors. Also, I remember that the commercial charter airlines played "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood when we were deplaning in Dhahran, Saudia Arabia in 1991 for Desert Shield/Desert Storm. God that brings back memories, good and bad. Like Taps being the song I love/hate. Love because of symbolized the end of the day, but hate because I've been to far more memorial services than ever wanted to go to during my time in the service.
