Probably not going to get out at all this year. DW has liver cancer and is on the transplant waiting list so can't leave the area plus there are all the testing/treatments in between. And the grandson we have living with us is still in school, just can't make long term plans. Might get away for a weekend or two though if her health will allow.

We're itching as well, looking forward to our trip to CA from Ohio the month of April, with stops to see friends in San Antonio and Phoenix. This will be the first long trip we've made and yearning to see if we want to go full time or not.

Have my Spring Break trip booked for Easter Week - Heading to St. Augustine for three nights and then Blue Springs SP near Orange FL for three more nights and then home bound. Wife has to get back to work.
Working on our Summer trip probably mull it over for another couple of weeks and then get to the finalization stage where I start booking key locations. We head after the NJ State Barbecue Championship the week after July 4th for about 28 days. Looking to head up Michigan to the upper peninsula then take mainly 2 lane roads to Minot North Dakota in time for three days at the ND State Fair. Next head to Glacier National Park for for three days. From there spending a couple of nights in Cody WY, our absolutely favorite town. Then hit Custer SD for a night or two and visit Mt. Rushmore. Skip some areas we visited before and head to Forest City IA to the Winnebago Factory for a tour and head back home. Many stops in between generally looking at 4-5 hours of driving between most locations.

Best wishes in finding a donor soon, and for a successful transplant surgery.
We'll start our migration East from OR to WV where we'll stay for a month or so. Then to SC, FL, GA, and AL, mostly to visit friends and family. Then on the way back from AL to OR we'll visit something we haven't seen yet, possibly Monument Valley. My wife has wanted to go there for years. And maybe somewhere else?
Anyone have thoughts about Monument Valley?
Thanks,
Steve

Our camper gets winterized four or five times a winter, so it never really goes into hibernation. So far we've made two weekend trips this year, with another in the works for the weekend after this.
In June we'll be spending a week at St. Andrews state park in florida to knock the dust off our stand up paddleboards. Made rezzies for that one a few months ago.
In August we'll go on a two week adventure up to Glacier National Park that includes a slow ride back home with maybe a stop at Gunnison. We'll see how many miles we can put on our hiking boots.

W'll be heading from NJ down to Florida in a couple weeks. Stopping at Port St. Lucie for an overnight with friends then down to Boynton Beach for a few nights. Then we'll be hitting Key West a few nights then over to Fort Myers. Want to check out some neighborhoods in those areas, except for KW, where we might like to start hunting for a house. Might be doing a couple overnights at Elks lodges as I'm a member and have enjoyed visiting them in the past.

Have all our trips booked, usually a year in advance.
1st- Everglades at the end of March
2nd - Camp Gulf, 2 weeks in August
3rd - Florida Keys for Christmas
Also booked a few weekends in Assateague Island. I always book at least a year in advance, especially the Keys & Assateague, gives me something to look forward to & I'm guaranteed to be where I want to be, at the time I want to be there.

We've already started.
- Last month, we did a week at Quartzsite.
- We'll do a week in March, locally.
- Need to plan a trip in April
- Memorial weekend with the kids and their RV's
- Will look for a couple of trips in May/June
- Week in San Diego in July with kids and their RV's
- In September will start an 8 week coast to coast
- Yosemite at Thanksgiving
- Just booked a 3 week cruise/land tour to Austrailia and New Zealand in February 2017.
- Will work on a trip later this year for 3 weeks to Glacier National Park/Yellowstone/Grand Tetons in 2017
We like to plan out in advance to get good sites at the popular spots.
