What a great question!
We are, at this time taking off a week from now for our longest trip to date, and our 1st winter southbound.
All we know for sure is we are going to Palm Springs for a while, then Apache Junction for 8 days, then Vegas for a few days, then up to Boise to visit the daughter for a week or so.
I really think i enjoy the planning and looking forward to trips as much as going on them!!!

We're taking our 'new' baby out for the maiden voyage in a month. Heading south (where else!) from Chicago to Orlando. Our daughter works for "the Mouse" so we'll be staying at Fort Wilderness for the first time! Hoping the trip goes well (glad we have a DP going through the Tennessee range!)

I have a 10 mile trip planned for this weekend. A member in a local park needs PLMG assistance and our MH needs driven. Tools and materials are in the MH. Win-Win.

Do you have a trip planned
Most trips for the year are booked. Never know when the snow and salt will clear, so cannot plan first trip until the last minute.

Wooo whoo...
Just planned/reserved our 2nd, 3rd & 4th trips for the year..
Here is THE plan..
- February - Pre-camping weekend going to the Chicago RV show with our camping friends.. what better way to hang with friends than looking at RV's and drooling !!!
- April - 1st of the year "shake out" trip to Cincy to stay at a friends.. no reservations necessary for his slab..
- May - Bourbon Trail Tour with 3 other coaches, staying at Ky Horse Park Campground
- May - Memorial Day weekend - Got ressie's at Brown County SP, Indiana
- June - Nelson Dewey SP, Wisconsin along the bluff's of the Mississippi
- July - South Haven, MI - Sunny Brook RV Resort -
- August - Not sure where yet.. but we're planning on taking a week long vacation with friends..
I really do hate this time of the year... no HD and no camping...

We're never in hibernation, but we do go into storage for 3months or so at a time in the winter while we enjoy our S&B here in the desert.
We'll head out mid march to calico ghost town for a jeep rally, then onto the Sierra foothills to enjoy the grandkids over spring break.

April 1st - 4 day boondock just to hang out and relax and enjoy a pig roast with my buds, and with an adequate supply of grain based beverages.
Then on the 8th of May to a month long solo stay on the White River in North Arkansas for trout fishing.... grain based beverages also included. 3 More trips after that which should take me up to about mid September.

Around spring break time, we will wind our way through North and South Carolina visiting friends along the way to the Outer Banks. Hope to do the entire length this time from the south end. The last attempt stopped short due to a bridge out from hurricane damage.
Once back home, we use the rig to tow our race car and its trailer to lots of local and out of town autocross events. Some one day, others multi day with dry camping. Our car brand convention is in Nashville this year which is much closer than recent East and West coast conventions (which are a great excuse to travel). We plan to extend our annual trip to Lincoln Nebraska SCCA national championships, and return through Amana Iowa then maybe down the great river road for a while before getting back to Lexington. I have a fall trip in the budget; maybe to Michigan.

3-18-2016- 5 nights at Bull Shoals/White River State Park. 6-1-2016- 5 nights- same place. 9-26-2016- 2 weeks- same place again. In between these dates- numerous weekends, generally in the same area. We have lots of good campgrounds around here. Since we are not retired yet, I'd rather go local than spend lots of time on the road. But in 3 years and 10 months from now, look out! We will be all over the map, mostly out West for the first few years. No plans on going full time, but lots of trips in our future.

I envy those of you who can use their RV 24/7/365. I'm sitting here typing this, with the 5er 50 feet away on its' pad, snoozing the winter away
We have one trip going through the final stages of planning for mid April - Arkansas, Lake Catharine State park - and meet up with one of our kids and family. Those reservations have been pretty much made. This will be a leisurely wander through Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. We'll most likely return through Georgia, S and N Carolina then beeline to home so we can get ready for 3+ months at our seasonal on Lake Champlain before pulling out for a 5 week jaunt to Utah, Arizona, N.M. and Colorado in late August through September. That second trip has not been anything more then a general idea of places and things we had to miss on this past fall's trip though I've ordered the 2016 guides and new maps.
