Site vs Sight.

I can't tell you how many times people - especially (supposedly) educated people like city managers and district attorneys - have referred to a hilltop police and fire dispatch tower as a "radio sight" instead of a "radio site".... I help out a friend that owns a two-way radio company by doing a lot of the field work (including the sites on 9 different hilltops).

If you think the English used is bad now wait until the current generation starts RVing and has questions. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

GM once announced a new product available on their pick up trucks as a dealer installed accessory. I might still have the poster somewhere. It mounted on the front bumper and they called it a wench. How that got thru I'll never know but I teased the heck out of my factory reps.
