Dog (s) rules?

At your S&B or RV are your dog (s) allowed on the furniture, bed or able to roam as they please?

Our two small rescue kids are free to roam the s&b and the rv. Both sleep on our bed in both.
Our past pup's (RIP) also had the same freedom.

At home they have their own sofa. We keep the bedroom closed otherwise they have free roam. In the RV we have covers on the sofa, they are not allowed on anything else. We also have a gate to keep them out of the drivers area.

All three pugs are free to roam. They all like sharring lap time in DWs lap while driving. They usually sleep in their beds while moving or in front of passenger seat . all sleep in bed at home and on rvClick image for larger version

When we are traveling (i.e. moving) we make the dinette up into a platform and the kids travel there. Have tie-downs attached and they are in their harness's so they are able to move around, but are safe from abrupt stops or jumping around.
They both spend the hours looking out the dinette window and sleeping. Knock wood, both of them (and our past pup's) travel really well.

We said we would not let our "next" dog(s) on the bed, but they were so cute and tiny as puppies we couldn't resist.
Now one is 80 pounds and the other is 100, and they have control of the bed.

Once the doogie got in between us on the bed and he put his paws on my wife's back and pushed he off the bed. That somehow became my fault.

Our 2 papillons and 2 rat terriers are free to roam the coach when parked. We put an old blanket on the dash where they like to lay in the sun. When traveling , they are locked in their crates. At home they have full run of the house , but normally spend most of their time sleeping on the floor or the couch.

At home NO. On the road, only because there is no place else for them to ride with the slides in, except on the couch. We use a King bed spread as a cover for the couch.

Except for the driver's corner, dad's rule, Vinny gets to do whatever he wants, mom's rule. The driver's corner extends from the driver's half of the windshield to just behind the driver's seat. Vinny is a big load of attitude in a 20 pound Mini Schnauzer's body. When we had our 150 pound Rotty Hercules, he was always 4 on the floor, dad's rule.

We have two mini poodles (the mid size version) which are free to roam the house or RV and sleep wherever (except our bed at night). Poodles have hair, not fur like most dogs so do not shed but do need have regular haircuts, done by my DW. Our pups get a bath every 7-10 days so don't smell. They do sleep in their own beds at night - Callie in the 5ers front closet, Molly at the foot of the bed. At the S&B, also in their own beds.

They are an integral part of our family, not just a couple of mutts passing by for a few years.

Our 3 stooges have full roam of the S&B except for the laundry room where the cat food and litter box are. In the coach they have been banned from the bedroom as SWMBO has decreed that the short queen is not big enough for the 5 of us. Now we place baby gates in the hallway. Halo likes the bed due to her vision impairment and now has adopted the bed under the dinette when still and the sofa when moving. The other two split riding time in the passenger seat, occupied or not.
