Cute! We are a family of 4, so this isn't in the cards for us yet.... but someday this would be great fun!

I live in the Shreveport area, and have watched this with much amusement. They want to use the old GM plant that is sitting vacant... so the city purchased the property. Now, the city is trying to put anyone into the plant who has money and move the Elio plant to part of another extinct business in the area. No ... wait... that fell thru, so the GM plant is available again... maybe. Still no money on the table. Saw the same thing in Monroe, LA a few years back..... big hoopla by the governor... new jobs... economic growth... etc. That one quietly folded and so will Elio. Elio was good for a press conference with a governor who wants to move up in the world of politics... nothing more. I would guess that you have a 98% chance that your money is gone for naught.
