Elon Musk steps up again.
Thank to Elon Musk SW Florida emergency services have had internet and cell phone service since two days after the hurricane. He donated several Starlink setups then with more to follow as requested.

Again?
Bill Gates and Elon Musk are the top of my list of grandstanders who make fortunes in one area and go for headlines in other areas.
Every time there is a disaster that downs power lines, crews from all over the county step up.
Stepping up is a 24/7/365 job in the power industry.

Power companies are required by law to put up a percentage of the crew and equipment at a given rate plus expenses for disasters. They get activated in many cases a day or two before the disaster and head to staging areas.

How much of Elon's latest "donation" is/was/to be taxpayer funded?

Wait till you see your new twitter bill.
Methinks he didn’t do it out of the goodness of his heart.

Who is Bill Twitter?
I think many do not know what it is to stand up. When you grab your chest and die who do you want seeing it? A utility lineman, me, or Elon Musk?
Sure being cpr trained was a job requirement in the navy and at power plants. Standing up in crisis was a job requirement and something that does not stop after work.
I would also suggest that stepping up is common behavior and not something a stand-up person would tweet about.
