Ernest Borgnine On The Bus

RV travel video back in the day with Ernest Borgnine On The Bus (Feature Documentary) 1965 with his Provost.

Good insight as to RVg back then. Enjoy!!

1995, actually.
I was never really a fan of his. But I can finally say he was in a movie I really liked. This one!

Imagine pulling into your RV park spot, late in the evening, and in the morning discovering that Ernie B was your neighbor. While I'm not a big fan, it's still kind of fun when retired musicians, athletes and actors show up as "civilians" in our lives - especially when we share hobbies and lifestyles like RVing.

I spent about a half hour with him 50 or so years ago. He was one of the most dynamic people I have ever met. He gave me the feeling I was the only person on earth when he focused his gaze and talked to me. I told him how all my buddies loved Marty and used some of the lines from it when we talked to each other. He broke into a huge smile and appeared to be genuinely thrilled. He was unique.

I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago at, of all places, a funeral.

In my former line of work, I frequently met the well-known and infamous. Mr. Borgnine couldn't have been nicer or more gracious.
