They've been able to do that. That's part of the reason I not only stopped using FB but I actually went thru the trouble of deactivating it and then cleaning out the web history and cookies and anything else I could think of just to get their tracking off of me.
No one needs to know every site I go to at all times.

Another reason to get out from behind Facebook and have real person to person relationships.

Real person to person relationships are great, IF you happen to be close enough for one, but I'm often 1,000 miles from my daughter and over 2,000 miles from several other friends, Some of them live in a different country and are currently visiting yet another country.. See the problem.

I would sacrifice some daily contact to preserve my privacy. What we did in the past worked well for generations. Why now can't we go more then a few min. or hrs. without knowing everything in other people's lives. Jmo

Facebook is how we keep in touch with our family and RVing friends around the country. We love it.

sadly i believe you, then again google and most of net is the same way..havent ya ever thought thats why so much stuff pops up on the side of your search that you are into..everytime you search something. someone takes info and places ads up next too it. that they think you might want.from what you searched. and I use my fb for my photography and too keep in contact with family since im usually miles away from them. altho i have thought of shutting it down, for the same reasons. Ill wait till im wanted by the law before i shut it down.
