We'll he heading out Dec. 28th or 29th. We should be in Ocala at the Resort by Jan 1st. We'll stay 3 months. We'll get back home just as it's starting to warm up here.

Full hookups @ $390 a month. Electric extra.

Last year, there were 17 days below freezing in St. Augustine. The sub-tropical zone is south of Lake Okeechobee.

Yes. We had a 19' Zinger and it was a great little TT. Excellent quality, but it was too small for snow-birding. So we looked at larger TTs and bought the 29' NorthTrail w/one slide. It's the perfect size for us and the cats.

We moved out of our Miami house on July 1 after living there for 32 years. The cold weather started in the Smoky Mountains and continued thru Minneapolis, Niagara Falls, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Charleston and now Savannah. We cannot wait to get back to the warmth of south Florida for December, January and February. Unfortunately for RVers, the parks and campgrounds charge according to demand...which is high. The best spots with the best deals are already taken.

Next time you want to stop in Savannah, try Hardeeville RV
They are a Passport America Park ($21.00 a night), and only about 6 or 7 miles from Savannah.
Not many frills, but a nice place to stay.

I've got to thank you all for being FL Snowbirds. My DW is a traveling nurse and the hospitals always add more staff for January thru April. Although I hope none of you need her services. She is looking to go somewhere in central FL. Last winter she was in Inverness, then Z-hills for the spring and summer. If every thing works out we will be there (somewhere) in FL January 7th.

Don't feed the bears (mommy and 2 cubs) that are in the park sometimes. They need to be afraid of humans to stay alive.
